Master Rowing Venue
Introducing our latest masters’ camp; strategically placed just ahead of the World Rowing Masters 2025. This camp has been designed for crew and athlete preparation ahead of any last-minute guided racing preparation needed. Gillian and her team will be there ready to help you find more speed and structure ahead of your onward travels to the beautiful Lake Banyoles.
This camp offers the most wonderful full-board accommodation in partnership with the stunning Villa Du Lac Hotel. All hotel rooms offer single occupancy and boast lake and mountain views. Lake swimming (morning, noon and night) is encouraged as the glacier water of Lac-du-Aiguebellete sits at the perfect temperature all day long for a relaxing dip.
Each mealtime showcases home-cooked dishes made using locally sourced ingredients, and as the Savoie region is famous for so many fine cheeses and wines Gillian has create the opportunity during camp to taste and pair much from the region.

Video analysis
we use advanced video analysis to help each rower refine their technique and enhance performance. Our expert coaches capture footage from multiple angles, providing detailed breakdowns of your stroke, posture, and overall efficiency on the water. Through slow-motion reviews and precise feedback, we identify key areas for improvement, helping you make adjustments that translate into real results. Whether you’re fine-tuning your technique or making strategic changes, our video analysis ensures you gain a deeper understanding of your rowing and take your skills to the next level.
On and Off the Water
Every aspect of each day’s agenda—both on and off the water—is designed to elevate your performance while immersing you in the finest elements of the Savoie region. This camp is as much about race preparation as it is about new connections, friends and opportunites.
Each day will take the shape of 2 structured & coached rowing sessions with a focus to improve technique, efficiency and effectiveness. Throughout the week we will continue to fine-tune, build and shape race plans and strategies as well as work on confidence, formation and fine-tuning. Rest assured, know that you will be in the hands of excellent coaches every stroke.
Two Structured & Coached Rowing Sessions Per Day – Improve technique, build endurance, and gain expert insights with two daily training sessions on the pristine waters of Lac Aiguebelette using premium equipment and guided by world-class coaches.
Lake Swimming & Daily Yoga – Start the day with guided yoga to enhance flexibility and focus, then unwind with refreshing wild swims in the crystal-clear lake to aid recovery and relaxation.
Savoie Cheese & Wine Pairing Evening – Experience an authentic taste of the region with a curated selection of artisan cheeses and local wines, carefully paired for a relaxed and sociable evening.
